About Me
Before I became a school counselor, I was a high school science teacher for 10 years. I’m grateful for that experience, as it taught me a lot about how students of all learning styles function in the classroom. In 2009, I received my undergraduate degree from North Central College , and earned my first masters degree from St. Xavier University (Masters of Secondary Education) in 2012. I completed my second masters in School Counseling at Lewis University in 2020.
I currently live in Shorewood with my husband and two kids. We also have a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier named Milo. In my spare time I enjoy being a Girl Scout Troop Leader, taking my kids on adventures, reading fiction, playing guitar and piano, and advocating for functional medicine, nutrition, and toxin-free living.
